Something that was on the list for several summers and didn't happen (has to do with having 2-yr-old twins..) was taking my husband to the drive-in movie theater in my hometown. I love fall's blue skies, the vibrant colours of the trees, the crunching of leaves, wearing sweaters, BBQ's outside.... it is by far my favorite season. Fall brings change, and a different pace. I am really excited for the change of fall that comes, the leaves turning, then drying out, then falling, then raking them, and of course..... JUMPING in them!! I know I am a grown adult, but I have always loved raking the leaves and them having a blast with the finished product. One of the things on my list to do is.... My birthday is August 9th, and it is during State Fair time here, everyone is busy, etc. So the only thing I ask for my birthday is to get together and have a barbeque with family. I love spending time together with my brither and sister, dad, grandpa, and my brother's mother in law (she makes a german chocolate cake, icing and all from scratch! for my birthday since my mom passed). Now with that long story, our get together in TONIGHT!! I am so excited, we had it planned for the last two Thursday nights but been rained out, and now today is just gorgeous! Have a great day!
