I’ll tally the votes at the end of tomorrow night. So, get your friends and family to play by Tuesday (December 18th) at midnight! We’re narrowing it down then I’ll enhance the top five and we’ll vote again!
Isn’t this fun?

Okay, here’s the entries for the “Winter Contest!” Remember you are a strict judge and you’re looking for the image to follow the requirements…it can’t just be pretty - it’s gotta pretty and seasonally correct!
I put the contest out there and said we’d do two rounds so pick your top favorite! We’re going with numbers instead of letters this time. Don’t forget to make your comment and please, chose ONE ( not 2, or 3, or 4, cause it really messes up my counting)! You’re narrowing down the list down to the top five!
NOTE: If your image is posted…rally the friends, family and any stranger with a computer and get them to vote for you!
Ohhh, this is so much fun! Tis’ the season…

Every year I put together a picture and newsletter for our friends and family…it just so happens that being Pastors of a church means a have a lot of friends and family. So, it becomes a huge process (picking the pictures, printing them, writing the newsletter, printing it, buying envelopes and stamps, addressing or handing out the envelopes…whew!) It might sound like I’m complaining but, I actually love giving and receiving pictures and letters. There are tons of people that only hear from us once a year and I’m still not wanting to let go of those friendships…it’s the perfect way to catch them up! AND whether It’s people I see all the time or not, it’s a great way to have their faces on my fridge!
It’s a great tradition! Lots of work…but worth it!
Do you put together a Christmas card? How big is your list? And when (realistically) does it actually get into the mail?

Have I mentioned that I love capturing families? Especially when the parents through themselves into it and the kid loves to pose! This family is one of my favorites…not only close friends of ours but their very photogenic!
More than anything else, they were willing to brave to cold with their two year old! I hope the pictures prove to be worth the effort!
