January 21, 2012 - 10:43 pm ali @ an ordinary mom - Oh, sweet momma, my heart breaks reading things like this... I've been there and done that with 2 of our girls, and I know that mom-heart fear when they explain that they need to get blood from an arterial line to check the blood gases to "check for signs of respiratory failure"... and the lump in the throat that forms when the doctors at the regular small town hospital tell you that they cannot provide enough care (they don't intubate, don't put children on respirators there) and that your child needs to transfer to Children's... I'm so thankful that she had such a wonderful rapid recovery! Enjoy the extra cuddle time!

Not children's hospital...that means this is serious and I don't want it to be serious." thank you for your sweet encouragement. I'll be praying for your son...I believe that the Lord can heal anything.

January 22, 2012 - 8:44 pm Jacquelyn - This post broke my heart! Seeing sweet little Clara's face in a hospital bed, oh Noemi! We prayed so much for her and knew the Lord would bring her out of this! So sorry you had to go through this...enjoy this week of extra cuddle time with your sweet babies and please let me know if I can do anything!! Love you guys so much!

January 23, 2012 - 8:38 am Noemi - Last week really made me appreciate our church family all the more. My own family kept saying how much they wished they lived closer so they could help and it was so amazing to be able to say, "We're fine. Everyone is helping us with: meals, carpooling, childcare and most of all prayer support!" It was great timing after Matt's sermon series on community. WE ARE THE REAL DEAL! I can testify to that.
