I just bought a foreclosed home in July so I really know your pain. Luckily, mine was in VERY good shape. Nothing major - just lots of little projects. It keeps the weekends busy. You are right about buying a foreclosed property - it is a whole different ball game. A LOT more stuff to look at, worry about and possible have to fix.
