Lights, Snow, Action…

It’s crazy that Thanksgiving is already over and Christmas is in 3 weeks…I love anticipating the season and I feel like I’m already in the middle of it. Thankfully, Im almost done my Christmas shopping and now all I have to do is focus on the stocking and the “little things.” We’ll be home for the holidays! And Christmas music will be playing from now until then.

Our tree is up and the presents are wrapped and underneath! Adriah asks every day, “When is it going to be Christmas?” We are counting down together. How do you explain 23 more days to a 3 year old?

The new snow every morning is beautiful and clean…Photography Tip: SNOW reflects the sunlight – it’s a huge reflector and great for bouncing light!

You can help her make one of those Christmas Chains where you tear off a ring each night before you go to bed and when the rings are gone, it is Christmas!!! My girls love this and we make them every year.

For Adriah – make a paper chain with individual paper links. Rip one off everyday (either first thing in the morning or at bedtime) until it’s Christmas! I used to do this with my oldest. Besides being a fun project to do together, it helps them visualize how many days are left and it also keeps them from asking you everyday if it’s Christmas yet! LOL
