My Grandma…

I got a call from Windsor today. My Grandma’s been diagnosed with pneumonia and she’s struggling to breathe. So, I’m booking my ticket to Canada. I’m going to fly out Sunday, after the wedding on Saturday. I feel a little sick to my stomach. It’ll be easier  once I get there. Knowing all 4 of my siblings will be there with me makes it a little easier. And my mom’s been caring for my Grandma every day so, it’ll be good to give her a break.

You know what’s amazing? My friends that are volunteering to take Adriah for the days I’ll be gone. These women are my family too. I’m so thankful for good girl-friends!

Thanks for everyone who’s praying…it means a lot. My heart is heavy, but I’ll try and rest in Him.

Our stories are very similar! My grandmother (also 87) is one of my best friends. I lived with her for a year after my grampa died. She means so much to me. I still talk to her on a daily basis and do as much for her as I can. I couldn’t imagine being away during such a difficult time! My heart is with you! I pray for a safe trip for you and a speedy recovery for your grandmother. At their age, it’s difficult to think that some day they may no longer be there for us. I will be praying for your grandmother, as I pray for Sylas and for others that I have met through your site. And to think, I started following this site to keep informed on the progress of the Morrison family, now I feel drawn here to see the amazing work you do! Thank you for sharing so much with us…we are blessed.

Wow Noemi, I am so sorry about your Grandma. How awful to have to deal with. You seem to have such an amazing family and wonderful friends to lift you up. Remember that the Lord is strength in this time of need…for everyone involved. We have a faithful, loving and powerful God – who will ease your Grandma’s pain and suffering. I will say a prayer for all you. May the Lord wrap His loving arms around you in this time. Bless you Noemi…

Thinking about you at this time. Give Grandma lots of love and tell her that you have people praying for her all around the country. Be safe!
