Pictures of Sylas Christopher Morrison!

I was talking to Brianna today and she was telling me about all the pictures they have up on www.Flickr.com. They are available for anyone to see. Just search “Sylas Morrison” and click “see more photos”…there are like 100 images of him!

Remarkably, Sylas is now eight months old! He is so beautiful…and rolls from his tummy over to his side AND his first word was “HI!” but, he’s been saying that for a while. He is one of the most smiley kids I know and when he looks at me with those big beautiful eyes…I never stop smiling!

You’d think the miracle of his birth would get old but, it really doesn’t. Every time I look at him I know I’m looking at a living miracle. Keep praying for him and their family!

Thank you Noemi for posting this!!! I’ve often wondered how they were doing. I found out about the Morrisons because my SIL worked with somebody who goes to your church and I’ve been following their story since she was only about 12 weeks pregnant. I’m so grateful that little Sylas is getting bigger and oh so cute!! Did you take the pics on the flickr site?? they’re beautiful 🙂

On a side note…I’m just starting my photography business in Wilmington, NC….but I grew up in MN and moved here almost 10 yrs ago…

Anyways…I’m a blog stalker of yours 🙂

Yes! Thanks for posting.

LOL. I’m Katie’s SIL. I went to write a comment and she already wrote something…

But I still wanted to let you know I appreciate that you and the Morrison’s are still wanting to keep us blog readers updated. I’m sure I speak for more than myself when I say that I’ve grown connected to both you and that family over the last year with their amazing story. It’s nice to know that prayers have been answered as Sylas grows stronger and bigger every day!

What a wonderful update…I too always wonder about how they are doing and how Sylas is growing. He is such a miracle growing in front of all of our eyes. I love your blog and read it daily. Just wondering if you are willling to throw your “boy name” out for other opinions yet?

Thanks for posting an update. My twins were in the same NICU as the sextuplets and we think and pray for little Sylas often. Preemies are living miracles and every time I look at my boys I am just amazed at how these little ones fight so hard. Sylas is so lucky because he has parents, that through their experience, truly value life and the miracle that he is……thank you for sharing these moments with us. Go, Sylas, go!!

Please register Sylas on Asher and Jacob’s Friends prayer list. We have all been following the Morrison6 since they were born. I learned of them through the Asherandjacobsfriends.com site.

Your site is currently listed on http://asherandjacobsfriends.com/17.html. In order to stay on this prayer site, you will need to register on the site by filling out the registration form at the bottom of this email. Please read the below email from Laura the site administrator. Thank you.

Dear Friends,

Asher and Jacob’s Friends is working hard to strengthen the regulations regarding when a link is posted on our site. This is for three reasons (1) to protect the privacy of the family (2) to protect our site from legal issues (3) to take a step towards becoming a foundation. It is very important to us that a family has the choice to have their site posted and we apologize for not taking this step sooner.
We know many of you are facing serious situations at the moment and we apologize for adding yet another burden to your plate. It is our hope you understand that we would not be doing this if it was not necessary. We are asking EVERY family that would like to remain on the site respond to this email by emailing back to Laura: laurainsem@yahoo.com a copy of the registration form completed. We know many of you have been on this site for a while and have made it clear to us you wanted to be added. Right now though, this is not enough. If you never filled out this form, it must be done! Please complete this form by April 8, 2008 otherwise you will be removed.
If you never wanted to be on the list or didn’t even know you were on it, I apologize deeply. It was never our intention to hurt you in any way or to take away your right to privacy. This is the reason we are doing this now, as we recognize how out of control the site became. We have always had good intentions but we know good intentions is not enough. Please contact Laura if you would like to discuss this further.
Thank you so much for taking time to do this. Please know our prayers are with all of your families. If there is ever anything you need, please let us know. May God bless all of you as you continue on your journey.
Laura Lynn and all at Asher and Jacob’s Friends

Hi Noemi-

I have been following your blog on Sylas Morrison and checked out the Flickr website. What beautiful pictures and what a beautiful amazing baby. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. My question is is Sylas now a year old? I have been following this story so long that I was wondering are there any new pictures and updates of him? Thanks
