Noemi, Thank you for the workshop! First of all, I learned so much at your workshop. It was a perfect fit for me. I feel like I was able to apply many new things the next day. I practiced on my kids and although they were not as cooperative as your models, I got some very nice shots. I was able to "embrace" the sunlight a bit more and try some new things. I'm already planning the next Workshop! It's going to be JANUARY! And it's something new...Business FOCUSED Photography Workshop!
It's only going to be available for anyone who has attended a NoemiPhotography FOCUSED Workshop before. We are going to have a "roundtable" of sorts. We're going to sit around my dining room table and talk shop!
This is going to be your opportunity to ask every question you want to ask a PRO Photographer but can't or won't or have tried but no one will answer you.
I'm going to have one-on-one time and group discussions about:

and I am going to have you send questions ahead of the Workshop so I'm sure to answer them!

I going to offer a special Senior Portraits Session this year! Here's how it works. Got a best friend that you would love to have a fashion shoot with? Well, I would capture one of the first Senior for an hour (outfit changes included) and then the second Senior would come and I'd capture you together for 30 min. then the last hour is just for the second Senior (outfit changes included). Doesn't this sound so fun? Both girls would get the images of them together and then a separate images of their personal shoot!

i had tons of fun with this couple. It was such a perfect day (even though the forecast was rain!) The clouds were moving so we got a great combo of sun and overcast shots! Enjoy!
Mini Sessions - The Evans Family Portraits (Minneapolis, MN)
Most couples get pictures for their engagement and then for their wedding and then they wait...until kids come. I'm not sure why because as our love grows I think we should capture it! This couple understands that. For their 5 year anniversary they decided to document their love - just for fun! I love that! I hope to capture them at 10 years, 15 years, 20 years and so on...they are beautiful!
As the Mini Sessions happened I needed to keep being inspired! I love finding new places to shoot at an old location. 
Angie and Neal - Engagement Pictures - Arboretum in Chaska, MN
The Arboretum has to be one of my favorite places to shoot engagement sessions...I could go there a million times and always come away with different shots. This couple was so much fun to work with and I'm really excited to be shooting their wedding in the fall! Capturing love is what I do and what I love doing!

The Flip Video Camera
Have I ever talked to you about this brilliant piece of equipment? If I haven't I will now. My biggest issue with video is that we would take the video but then never do anything with it cause it took forever to piece together. Why do we take video? 1. to show my kids later
2. to show my family now
3. to remember precious moments
All good reasons but, If I just take the video and never do anything with it because I don't have time...it's all pointless. That is until I got THE FLIP! It's the size of a cell phone and that means I take it everywhere. It has no cords just a connection to load into any computer. AND it has the software in it so I can upload from any computer! Because of it I use it all the time and upload immediately! LOVE IT!

On the day we shot these pictures the weather went as low as 32 degrees... and during the shoot we had rain and sleet! But, all that doesn't matter when you are in love. They were so fun to work with and I can't wait to capture the wedding. ENJOY!
They were ready to jump and then 2 seconds later...snuggling. I love it!

Ashley and Joel's Engagement Portraits - Minneapolis, MN
We went to the Walker Art Museum today...and it was a gorgeous winter location for engagement pictures! You do have to quickly get over the fact that tons of people are milling around the photoshoot! This couple did amazing. We had a great time together...even if it was freezing outside! I'll definitely be going there again. Anyone else getting married and in need of engagement photos?

Lindsay and Tony's Engagment Pictures, Prior Lake, MN
If you haven't figured it yet one of my favorite places to capture people in nature's beauty is in my neighborhood "the wilds" in Prior Lake, MN. I have found a couple of gorgeous spots and have used them a ton this summer! This couple was willing to make the drive out to "farm country" and we were able to capture them on one of the last 60 degree day this year! So lucky. And we had the amazing colors of the leaves too! life is good.
I saved my favorite for the last pictures...I love the softness and weird colors!

I love it when I'm doing the engagement photo shoot and the groom-to-be says, "This is more fun then I thought it would be!" I try and make every photo shoot painless...we laugh a ton and the couple gets to hug and love up on each other...It doesn't get much better then that!

Liz and Ross's Engagement Pictures
It's that time of year again...couples are preparing for their big day and a part of that is having engagement pictures taken. I love shooting engagement pictures because you get to have informal/ fun shots and I get to learn the personalities of the couples. It's great for them to get to know me and how I take pictures. Sometimes I ask couples to do crazy things or sit in a weird angles or positions but hopefully when they see the pictures they say, "It was worth it!"
If there's time I always try and get a few shots of the bride-to-be. Liz is going to be a beautiful bride and I can't wait to capture her!
I shot this one in the darkest corner of the parking garage but I thought it made for a kinda sexy shot. Kissing in the dark...love it!
This is one of my fav's! I love the light coming through and Liz looks so peaceful!
They look so natural in their caps...i love that they are totally worn and cozy looking! Nothing like a perfectly formed hat!
This is the best! I asked them to kiss and their hats bonked...we all laughed and I got them to do it again for the shot! They confessed it's not the first time that's happened!
Rachel and Jake's Engagement Pictures!
Wow! This is a pretty couple. I had a hard time choosing pictures because everyone felt like it was a special moment. I love when you can see love between two people. This is a perfect example. They were brave to do a winter engagement shoot and we had a wonderfully warm winter day...30's...I'll take it! I can't wait for the wedding!

Gina and Johnny's Engagement Pictures
Gina and Johnny are both history teachers...isn't that cool? That means they get to vacation all summer together! I love it! Definitely one of the sweetest couples! At first maybe a little nervous about being photographed but, in the end I think they really excited about having me shoot them next year for 9 whole hours!!!! I can't wait!

Tessa and Bryan's Engagement Pictures
I've never been to Fort Snelling before this shoot! It was incredible. I loved that I felt like we were stepping into a different time...did you know that everyone who works there plays a role of an officer (fully dressed in uniform) or the store clerk (ready to answer all your shopping questions) or the school administrator (able to answer all you history questions? It was very cool. Thanks Tessa and Bryan for being willing to go outside the box and have your pictures done here!

I love twirling pictures!
At the end of our shoot the officers were doing a drill and invited "volunteers" I gently encouraged them to do their American Duty and join the line...I got great shots of them learning to march and stand at attention!
