Being it's August it seems crazy to be thinking about Christmas - especially after the hot summer we've had. But when the fall hits and school starts everyone starts thinking about Christmas cards and updating their family photos! Since their aren't enough Saturday's to capture everyone interested in family photography...Mini Sessions were born! 14 families captured in one day - it's crazy and tons of fun! AND of course, I can't wait to see what gorgeous outfits you come up with!

- Saturday, October 13th, 2012
Where will the Mini Sessions be captured this fall?
- I'm returning to one of my favorite places to photograph in the fall...Minnesota Harvest in Jordan, MN! (http://www.minnesotaharvest.net) Your Mini Session could include anything from: pumpkins, rows of apple trees, stacks of hay, animal rides, wagon rides and more.
What times are available?
- Sessions will begin at 9 AM and will be booked on a first-come, first-serve basis (space is limited)
How do Mini Sessions work?
- Sessions will start on the hour and the half hour and are 20 minutes max in length.
- Available to groups up to 4 people max (kids, families, couples, headshots) If your family has more then 4 people…you may require two Mini Session spots to make sure we have time. Contact me for more details.
- Assorted posed and candid shots (Feel free to bring a few props of your own)
Mini Sessions are $250.00 plus tax
- 20 minute session
- 20 digital files and print release
- Online ordering gallery (PICTAGE.com)
- All files will be delivered electronically unless otherwise specified.

It was such an incredible day for weather...80 degrees with the sun moving in and out of the clouds! Can't ask for anything better then that. I'm so honored to captured these amazing families!
This section of Mini Sessions is going to be a combo or two families. I had a brother and sister book sessions back to back and did some over lapping between the sessions...We had so much fun!

Wedding FOCUSED Photography workshop July 28th, 2012 I am so excited for this workshop! Have a mentioned it's going to be unlike any Workshop I've ever taught? I'm going to have 2 sets of bride and groom models - AND THEY ARE GORGEOUS! This workshop is going to be killer for portfolio building shots and learning how to tell a story through images. If you've just started shooting weddings, would like to shoot weddings or have been shooting for a while and want to break out of your system a bit...this is for you!
Practical FOCUSED Photography Workshop Aug 18th, 2012 I have taught this short but action packed class several times in the last couple of years and it's perfect for ANYONE with a DSLR camera wanting to learn camera basics, lighting, posing, and the ability to ask questions while you're shooting! I hope you are able to come!
Roundtable FOCUSED Photography Workshops Oct 20th, 2012 If you've taken a NoemiPhotography Workshop EVER you qualify for this workshop. The roundtable was designed for those of you starting a photography business and wanting/needing a place to have your work critiqued, ask questions, learn from others at the same stage as you, figure out pricing and branding...it's so incredibly encouraging!

When I was 19 I went to School of Ministry in Toronto, Canada...that was 17 years ago. CRAZY! I made some incredible friendships that still exist today! I'm so thankful for the shaping years. What I learned about the Lord during that time really set the foundation for who I am today. Andy was in the school with me and I persuaded him to drive up and bring the family so they could be my models for the workshop! Brace yourself for the cutest curly hair ever!
Sweet families are the easiest to capture...and this is was one of the sweetest families EVER! We laughed the whole time. :) One of my favorites things to do btw.

Here I come! As a mom of three I don't get to travel internationally much. If you're ever wanting to try this there's a couple of things that have to be in place:
1. Have a husband who's amazing and loves being with your kids!
2. Have an incredible contact abroad who's willing to do leg work for you and get the word out!
3. It helps to have a sister who lives in the country of choice for incentive to make it happen!
4. Have friends that are willing to help get you to and from the airport and watch your kids when you're husband needs to work!
5. Have a dream, put it out there and watch the Lord figure out the details!
So, today I fly! As soon as I get to airport my vacation begins. I'm bringing way too many books and things to do because, Lord knows, I'm going to watch movies on the plane. But, I will have hours of uninterrupted time and I want to enjoy every minute.
I know it's a long way to go for 5 days but it will be worth every moment of jet-lag because it's England, photography and my sister.
Yes...I will be taking tons of pictures!
And yes, I will be sharing them with you!

- I'm trying something BRAND NEW and very dear to my heart! I have a friend who owes 4 horses on a beautiful 12 acre property that backs up to the Minnesota river. Your Mini Session could include anything from: horseback riding, fun in the barn, walks through the forest, or playing in the sand and water!

'Tis the season for fun presents and doing stuff to make people smile!
It's my favorite when families go all out! I love it when they think about their outfits and totally spend time - even go formal. It's gorgeous to capture.
Sisters are a beautiful thing. I have two sisters one older and one younger...I love them both! The bond of a sister is like no other so, you can imagine it was deepest pleasure to capture these girls!

Family Photography done well is such a blessing. It is tons of work getting together schedules, outfits, hair, make-up, not to mention trying to arrive with happy kids who stay happy for 25 minutes. It always works out. thankfully I've been doing this for a few years and I always have a trick or two up my sleeve. I felt like I totally knew this family 2 girls and a boy...ages 6,3,1 sounds familiar right?
Mini Sessions are so fun for me...I am on the ball all day trying to draw out the best in the families, light, posing, backgrounds and capture emotion. this family's pictures made my job look easy!
