When are the Fall Mini Sessions?

- Saturday, Sept. 28th OR Saturday, Oct. 12th

Where will the Mini Sessions be captured this fall?

- Minnesota Harvest in Jordan, MN! (http://www.minnesotaharvest.net) Your Mini Session could include anything from: pumpkins, rows of apple trees, stacks of hay, animal rides, wagon rides and more.

Or Prior Lake Mini Sessions will include small town Minnesota and fall colors. Of course, customizing with your own props is always welcome.

What times are available?

- Sessions will begin at 9 AM and will be booked on a first-come, first-serve basis (space is limited)

How do Mini Sessions work?

- Sessions will start on the hour and the half hour and are 20 minutes max in length.

- Available to groups up to 4 people max (kids, families, couples, headshots) If your family has more then 4 people…you may require two Mini Session spots to make sure we have time. Contact me for more details.

- Assorted posed and candid shots (Feel free to bring a few props of your own)

$250.00 plus tax for 20 images

or

$300.00 plus tax for 30 images.

Mitchell's Senior Portraits - Prior Lake, MN

I love shooting in my town because I'm always on the look out for stunning backgrounds and when I'm driving around...I find them. Prior Lake is beautiful and we're able to take Senior Portraits without tons of people in the background. Mitchell's photo session made me want to capture more Senior Portraits of guys! We had a blast and I love capturing his personality!

Today is my anniversary. My husband and I had been in ministry at a local church in the Twin Cities for the last 13 years...actually it was 20 years for him. We have started a new chapter of our lives.

On June 17th, 2013 Matt was sworn in as a Police Officer to the town of Hastings, MN.

So just like that, life changes. I'm excited to see what the next 13 years hold...I know the plans He has for us are good.

Family Photography - What props to bring to your family shoot?

Mini Sessions are a fast way to capture your family photography! And it's amazing what I can get in 20 minutes. I love it when clients listen to me...seriously, it's so nice. Balloons are so simple. But simple props work for family photography.

Family Photography - What to wear

One thing I like to encourage all my clients is when you're picking what to wear for your family photography choose color and patterns and lots of accessories! Vibrant is gorgeous! Here's a perfect example:

I always invite families to bring props to my family photography sessions. There's nothing like capturing each child at their stage of life and props, costumes, toys, clothes, blankets etc. are GREAT symbols of the stages. These are the pictures 20 years from now we'll still be talking about because they will trigger memories from those ages! I want pictures that do that. Here's what I mean:

Getting to know each other is part of being a good wedding photographer. Spending time together and doing engagement photos is so helpful for everyone! After engagement photos I show up to the wedding and we're ready to do "our thing!" We've practiced and everyone is so much more relaxed! And one of my favorite parts of engagement pics? Multiple outfits! SO FUN!
