I'm usually a huge advocate for on location outside photography. But, when you plan a shoot and the family is ready and 10 inches of snow falls you have to improvise. So...we set up my studio lights and did our family shoot inside. AND We had a blast doing it. I met this couple when they were Freshman students at Bethany College of Missions (10 years ago). At the time I was working as the manager of the school bookstore. Matt and I became friends with Brianna and her whole family! Several years later Ryan and Brianna married then along came beautiful Sylas. The first time I held him I remember crying and saying it was the closest I've ever been to a living miracle. Today he has special place in my heart...I could listen to him talk forever. Because Ryan and Brianna moved back to Wisconsin when Ivy was a month so I don't know her as well but, she has spunk! And I like that!
