It's rare that I break out of the Wedding and Portrait Photography realm and get to capture something totally different! I loved this photo shoot. Dance is beautiful. And so is Nicky Choelo. Like so many photographers who have been taking pictures for a long time...I see the lines, textures, shadows and light that make a gorgeous image come alive. Watching Nicky dance was like...seeing passion in motion. She has always danced. Her mother dances and her sister dances but yet, it's so personal to her. i love art. being in the studio with her made me want to stand a little straighter, point me toes, stretch my legs and sing. Yes, i said sing. Because I wanted to soar and I don't know how to dance but, I do know how to sing with all my heart!
