Summer is about: -jamming as many fun activities as you can into one week and then, taking a few days off to do nothing
-enjoying the outside play area
-using your imagination
-being with family
-eating outside
-feeling warm
-long play dates
-eating ice-cream
-playing with toys you forgot you had
-slowing down
-reading and reading and reading
-finding new parks
...well, at least this is the kind of summer I want for my kids. I really tried to not have them running from event to activity to appointment. Instead, we played and used our imaginations.
Totally old school.
